It’s a lovely apartment with Capri style interior but modernized equipment. I have not met the host entirely but the host provided such thoughtful and amazing service from the moment you booked until check out. He helped with directions, recommendations around and restaurants. Great attitude and always there to help. He pre-cooled the apartment which was life saving for us after entire day visited outside in the heat. We found fresh water and prosecco in the fridge, and little snack packs on the table as welcome! These small details were great and really helped us to refresh from the tiredness of touring around. Location is pretty central and convenient. Bus stop is just right in front and easy to catch. You can walk to the main square easily even though there are quite a lot of stairs, but that’s just Capri, a lot up and down. The room is really clean and you have all the essentials. The shower water is strong. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. There is usb and 3c charger at both night table in one of the rooms, so great for traveller who forget adapter. There is a lovely terrace can see the sea and the port of Capri.

There was a lot to love about the apartment: Casa Vera is newly renovated with carefully considered decor and furnishings - there’s no clutter, the bed is really comfortable, and there is ample supply of towels and bedding - it has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The terrace is exceptional, allowing one to really enjoy a relaxing holiday without necessarily having to leave the apartment. The location is perfect, easy access to all the activities in Capri, with the option to move around by foot or to get to transport. The hosts were super responsive and very professional.

This property offers it ALL. Private, well equipped rooms with ensuites, balconies and direct pool access. Small amount of people staying at the hotel - about 4 couples when we were there. The 3 staff their made it their absolute mission to make our stay THE most comfortable, but the property did so anyway - so their incredible attention to detail was a bonus. Breakfast daily is handmade, bespoke and local-level quality. Great coffee and fresh juices, chia puddings, eggs and tomatoes w/bacon…. In the afternoon - Aperols by the pool, bruschetta and olives, vino Bianco by the litre - this place is heaven. Quite literally the best valued hotel I’ve ever stayed in, ever. Cannot overstate the quality enough. Il Carrubo Capri - Sei il migliore!

I highly recommend. Good location, close to the port, the apartment was very clean and there was nothing missing. Beautiful view from the window of the Vesuvius volcano. The hostess treated us to delicious citrus fruits from her garden. Grazie!
