This property was amazing that made our stay so comfortable. As soon as we entered the property, we noticed the beautiful smell of wood and the automatic lights and TV came on. The sitting area with Horigotatsu was perfectly done (save the space without chairs) and small details of Japanese gardens here and there; even from the bathtub! Upstairs was huge and another toilet was a bonus. I would definitely like to stay again when I visit Nara.

We really enjoyed our stay in Kyoto. The biggest highlight was Mr. Tanaka's hospitality and how quickly he responded to any questions we had. Communication was excellent throughout our stay. The location was great: in a quiet neighborhood where we could sleep with the windows open, about a 7-minute walk from the nearest station, around 5 minutes by train from Kyoto Station, and only a couple of minutes from a convenience store. The washer-dryer was fantastic and extremely useful during our trip. Being able to wash and dry clothes in one machine was a huge convenience. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this accommodation to other travelers.
