They welcomed us with complimentary drinks on the patio with a beautiful view and were very eager to make our stay perfect. The breakfast was excellent: omelette, salad, cornflakes, cheese, ham, sweet toasts, coffee... all served on a lovely patio overlooking the view of the lake and Plav. Great location, great view!

What a lovely surprise to arrive at a quaint looking ranch, just built and with everything you need including an outside table and chairs. There’s even a small wooden deck. The views are great, the host left a bowl of fruit, tea/coffee and sorted out transport for us the following day. This was the easiest and most comfortable stay we had on our trip.

Grandfather's Place is a very special place and I am so pleased I visited. I had 3 nights in early June 24, and I wish I could've stayed longer. It was everything I had hoped for - amazing home made food, stunning views and environment, and wonderful hosts who made me feel very welcome.

Amazing place for mountain hikers, very hospitable owners. All the food is so tasty and homemade. Cottages are clean and comfy. Nature and views and everything is so worth the money.

Staying in this wooden cabin was truly one of the most beautiful travel experiences we’ve ever had! The house is perfectly located in untouched nature, right on the Peaks of the Balkans trail and next to a gently flowing river. Waking up to the sounds of nature, breathing in the fresh mountain air, and looking out through the large glass windows — absolutely magical. The cabin is spotlessly clean, cozy, and modern, yet warm and in harmony with the surroundings. Surrounded by a forest of fir, pine, and spruce, it truly felt like a fairytale. And the hosts? Incredible! So kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. They gave us great hiking tips and shared interesting stories about the local area. We felt completely at home. This is a place we’ll never forget — perfect for anyone seeking peace, nature, and genuine hospitality. Thank you for everything, we’ll definitely be back! ❤️

I am very satisfied. + Accommodation is outside Plav, in a quiet environment, surrounded by greenery. We were in winter time and the atsmophere is so cozy in this time, perfect for family. The snow was about 10cm. The cottage was really cozy. The owners are very hospitable and kind. There is a beautiful terrace with a seating area where the owner can make pizza, even brought us breakfast. A trekking park can be reached in about 15 minutes by car. Clean, cozy and all new. P.S Also would like to say that bed and bed sheets are exceptional!
