The host was very kind and she gives us a lots of great suggestion to place to visit and restaurants near by. We stayed for two nights and everything was perfect. This place is very quiet and you can enjoy a relaxing time here. Special mention to the breakfast was very awesome! Highly recommend

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. absolutely exceptional stay. we only had one night and would have preferred two. from afternoon drinks to the shared table dinner and wonderful food and wine it was wonderful. the room was large with great views. can't speak highly enough of the host.

This place is perfect in every way. A new build and business. The owners go out of their way to help with whatever you need or may want. The hospitality is second to none. Highly recommended. We would have loved to have stayed longer, enjoyed the share fireplace and common areas and shared a drink or two here - (but the flu meant we didn't get to make use of it as we should have! we will come back!

I took a 2 week trip to Portugal and moved around nomadically from property to property in the north and this was an exceptional experience. This property is as beautiful as the host and even more beautiful in real life. I felt right at home instantly, so much so that I’ve already booked my next stay. The room is as stunning as the view and every detail from the pillows and Egyptian cotton linen to the toiletries, all gently scented to blend with nature the host has carefully selected to spoil her guests. Steeped in family tradition, even the name has a beautiful story behind it that the host shared with me over a delicious white from the her vineyard beside a cosy fireplace, I felt transported in time, I’m definitely coming back for the harvest. And I almost forgot to mention, at night the adjacent homes across the water turn into little glistening stars mirroring the skies above, I found calm my body much needed. But honestly what makes this property stand out above all is the host, go and thank me later! As humans all we have are our stories and this is one I was briefly part of, With gratitude, Space
