We stayed at Leeloo for a week and had an amazing time! It’s exceptionally clean and well-kept. The entire complex is so aesthetically pleasing and comfortable— even more beautiful than the photos. The bungalows are brilliantly designed, providing plenty of privacy for every guest.
Each morning, a lovely señora prepares breakfast and serves the best natural juice I’ve ever had. The upper floor temperature is easy to adjust, ensuring a good night’s sleep, even on warm and humid nights.
The owner is incredibly kind and helpful, speaking multiple languages and going above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Leeloo is within walking distance of all the bars and restaurants, yet the only sounds you’ll hear are those of nature.

Everything was perfect, the best place we have been in the Dominican Republic. The place is beautiful, very clean and in a quiet street. The garden with the swimming is beautiful. The owners are very nice and helpful, highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel El Mambo in Las Terrenas for an extended weekend. The hotel impresses with its minimalist-modern decor, infused with a charming Moroccan touch, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. Everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety. The staff deserves special praise for being incredibly friendly, courteous, and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return!

I don't usually leave reviews but the staff and service here were just so wonderful. We were traveling with our one-year-old baby and everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cater to us. By the end of our stay every staff member knew our baby's name and would share big smiles and games with him - it was so nice. Even the cleaning and maintenance staff went out of there way to be friendly. Thank you in particular to Noel, Juan Carlos, Angelo, Angie, Marley, and Brandon at Parallel Surf - GEMS!
We stayed in a beach bungalow and I would recommend it if you want to be closer to the beach and have a little more privacy.

Exceptional – Babette and rest of the staff were very kind and professional, room was well equipped, pool and common areas nicely maintained. Beach is just a few minutes away, as is a great food truck park. Bonus points for Juna the cat. Wholeheartedly recommend both La Curadina and El Encuentro in general, probably our favorite place in the DR.
