Situated in Heliopolis, Baron Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV. It features an elegant restaurant with panoramic views of the Baron Empain Palace. This is (up to now) the best hotel (in general) I've stayed in Cairo. The sound isolation is good (all others were noisy as hell) The breakfast is really good and employees are kind and professional. Transfer for the airport was free of charge. I other hotels it cost ~$10
