the beach is the perfect spot to surf for all levels. as a beginner the lessons are cheap, instructors great. The rooms are just great and you can see they were built and decorated with love and care. everything you need. i stayed in the garden view and was very happy. food is good and staff are amazing and always helpful. The hosts George and MJ are the soul of the place and super available and caring about their guests. you can rent scooters just near by. well done! great place to stay out of general luna to relax and enjoy the real siargao

Surigao Dream was a dream. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and their story is so interesting. The food they cook is delicious and the pool has amazing views with incredible sunset views. The Bungalows are great with their own private deck looking over the water and the beds are comfortable with plenty of room. Not far from Surigao City either, a great area to stay in when you visit.

Casa Basa was wonderful! All staff are some welcoming, kind, and friendly. I rented a motorbike to use during my stay, and Mich kindly gave me a quick tutorial on how to use it. The property is a 5-10 minute ride from the main General Luna area, but I preferred this; it was so peaceful and quiet at the accommodation. They were also working to make the Starlink internet even better during my stay—this made it easier for me to get some work done. There were occasional power outages due to the island-wide power issues, but Casa Basa has a backup generator, so things were restored quickly. Breakfasts and smoothies were delicious, and the adorable dogs were also a big plus for me. It was a wonderful stay and I would love to visit again the next time I come to Siargao! Thanks to the whole team!
