The hotel is a spacious riad located inside the Medina. Very beautiful and new (in contrast to other hotels we saw sight seeing). The room is excellent, w/ a big bedroom and living room, with a spacious bathroom and separate toilet. Fruits and nuts were awaiting for us upon arrival. Restaurant for breakfast and dinner is great, and local food is amazing. We loved it. A fine restaurant (maybe the best in Tunis) is just across the street. The hotel is located at 5/10 minute walking from several places to visit within the Medina, including several mosques and surks.

Wow! This was the most luxurious room I have ever stayed in. In fact, it's not even a room, it's little house with two rooms, all huge, and huge luxurious bathroom. Everything is brand new, not just in your "villa" but everywhere. We also used spa services and those were great too. The whole property is very isolated, you feel very calm and safe.
The staff tries their best to accommodate your needs. The price might look high comparing to other hotels, but it totally worth it.

Where to start? The dar is a gorgeous old building, and we had a large room with an alcove and arches and a very high ceiling. The location is superb, right in the middle of the Medina, from which you can walk everywhere. Breakfast was incredible,with freshly squeezed orange juice, omelettes, fresh fruit, home-made jams, yogurt with granola. The staff are very kind and helpful, and they have arrangements with a taxi service that will take you to and from the airport, to the Bardo, etc.
We could not have been more pleased with Dar Medina!
