Hirschen is situated in a 17th century landmark building located in Interlaken. This hotel features a garden and free WiFi throughout the property. The wooden caracter of the house and the old history, I felt myself in a very cozy house. And The staff were so much welcoming very helpful for inside and outside of the hotel. Hotel Schönegg is a 3-star superior hotel located right in the centre of car-free Wengen, which is only reachable by train. The location is perfect, it feels like it's at the end of the main street. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. The breakfast has many types of local cheeses. I arrived at 8pm but I had the key ready with a welcome message and instructions. I liked that the room had a painting of the old train station and the hallway had 19th century furniture! And old pictures of Wengen in the hallways. Snacks and drinks in the lobby. I liked that I received a mini Gipfelwiiss in the room, which is a chocolate bar in the shape of the 4 snow-capped peaks (Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau and Silberhorn) and is produced in Wengen at the Vincenz Bäckerei - Konditorei on the main street.
