Centrally located in St. Moritz-Dorf with panoramic views over the lake and the mountains, the traditional Soldanella Hotel is only a 5-minute walk from the shopping street and the Corviglia Ski Area. Free WiFi is available. The view from our room was spectacular looking out over the lake. It was a quick walk to the train station. You do not need to take a taxi. We did on arrival because of the rain but once you exit the train station walk to your left and you will find the ramp to the escalators that take you up to the city centre. From there it is 5 minutes to walk a gentle incline to this charming hotel. Fabulous breakfast with stunning views from the dining room. Staff is friendly and helpful. Staying three nights we were given a pass for the gondolas and did that ever help with cost. So very thankful for it. It’s the small things like that which would keep me coming back. We even had dinner there one night and the food was very good.

The staff went out of their way to meet all our needs. For example, our kids eat only vegan food. The kitchen staff provided special, tasty vegan meals for them every evening, based on their food preferences. I love everything about this hotel - the location, the cleanliness, the excellent breakfast, the friendly and helpful staff, the spaciousness and coziness of our room and the gorgeous view from the balcony!

A sauna and steam room are available in the winter season. The room was beautiful and very comfortable for a family of 4. It has a very good restaurant inside the hotel
