What a pleasant experience to stay at Hotel Zehnthof. It is beautifully located, close enough to the main attractions to be convenient, but far away enough to get a good night's rest when there is a party going on in town. The breakfast was exceptional. Completely renovated in early 2014, rooms at the Parkhotel offer a flat-screen TV and a modern bathroom. Some rooms have a balcony overlooking the garden or River Moselle. The room was ideal, a pretty typical hotel room. It could have done with a couple of hooks for a jacket and so on. There was no tea or coffee in the room but I don't see that as a major problem. Breakfast was good insofar as the dining room was large and comfortable. The 8 person queue at the coffee machine was a disaster. A second coffee machine would help a lot. The buffet layout was cramped meaning that people were elbow to elbow at the buffet. Not at all comfortable. The hotel itself was comfortably placed, just outside the town centre and with masses of free parking in the hotel grounds.

Set within a historic, 18th-century building, the Hotel Germania’s rooms have a private bathroom, modern furniture and a TV. Lovely, comfortable stay! Beds were wonderful for a restful nights sleep. The breakfast was vast, and catered to everyone in our party. Location was perfect for visiting the Christmas Market.
