The hotel is exceptional and frankly exceeded our expectations. Its minimalist architecture centered on an inner garden is a real highlight. We had a fantastic stay. Everything was perfect, including the public baths and the breakfast. We stayed in a superior room. The location was good, only a few streets away from central metro and bus stations. 12 minutes to go to Umeda, center of Osaka, by subway but actually we did like the area of the Fraser Residence better. Reasonably low priced. As a morning runner, less than 500 meters away a baseball court you can run around (350 meters) without worrying about cars, bicycles etc. We made a wash daily while being in the Fraser Residence - perfect.

The Granvia is a comfortable and well run hotel located inside Kyoto Station. Kyoto Station is an architectural landmark and always a pleasure to see. It is also a transportation hub for busses, subways, and local train service, essential for visiting the far flung attractions of Kyoto. This was our fourth stay in this hotel. The hotel concierge service is exceptional, and I communicated frequently with my concierge contact, Saori, long before the start of the trip to arrange restaurants, and tourist visits. When she realized that we were interested in fusuma (Japanese sliding door painting), she located and identified a number of temples that were open only at very limited times, and that were not mentioned in any guidebooks.

Ideally located just a 2-minute walk from lively Nishiki Market and Ponto-cho Street, Matsui Honkan boasts large public baths and chic Japanese-style rooms.

Loved it! From the warm reception to the comfortable bedding and all the personal touches. The Onsen was beautiful and even the PJs provided were so cute I bought them 😃

Amazing experience. The room was huge and cosy. The onsen was fantastic. Everyone was extremely kind, they barely speak English but it was not a problem at all.

Very clean and wonderful facilities, the pillows were so comfortable, staff were excellent the breakfast was delicious, very close to Osaka Station. The gym was fully equipped with weights machines and cardio equipment. Lots of restaurants and shopping near by
