The room was spatious enough to accomodate both of us and two big luggage bags as well. Water was provided every day, room was clean, everything worked and the atmosphere was very silent and relaxing. The lobby is beautiful, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly both at check in and at check out. The onsen was a huge bonus and very pleasant to soak in. Really liked the fact that you could check how busy it was from the TV in the room. Being able to do laundry as well as checking the status from the TV in the room was also a nice feature.

It features a spacious and comfortable lounge, a tatami (woven-straw) terrace and a wall-size map with latest event information around Kyoto. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property, while portable WiFi devices are available for guests to use during their stay for an additional fee. The whole place is very clean and well organized. The staff are very friendly and videogame night is a great idea, it was fun! Also very affordable and very close to the Kyoto station.

They really went to extreme to ensure that we reach the best Kinosaki-experience. I forgot my ring, noticed it in the bus station and accepted my faith. However, they had noticed my ring and rushed to the bus to bring it to me - this is an example of their heartfelt attirude towards guests

Guests are free to attend Buddhist morning services, the Goma fire ritual and meditation. Ekoin Temple is a stunning piece of architecture and the rooms are absolutely wonderful. Despite the winter cold, we were able to keep the room warm with the provided heater. I loved the bathroom, very clean and comfortable and beautiful design. The futons were comfortable, service kind and attentive and the food was delicious. One night was way too short!
