The community that is working (and staying) at the Guest House was wonderful--they had a sushi party the night we arrived and the hosts taught us how to make sushi rolls. Also there was a guitar in the communal area that we were able to use which was great. The facilities were clean and the family room that sleeps four was very comfortable (I was traveling with my two adult children).

Located in a very calm and charming area, near a nice temple, looking at the forest ont the mountain. Also they have a beautiful Japanese garden, really peaceful. It is not central located but easy to access with subway plus bus, or taking the taxi. The staff were really professional and very nice. I really recommend this place.

The property is super conveniently located - it is next to a Namba train station, which is one of the main ones in Osaka and it is walking distance to Dotonbori food street. It has loads of places to eat (incl Starbucks and different ramen places), a small conveniece shop around the corner and just about anything is available for sale inside Namba station shops. The room housed 3 proper beds, has a washing machine and hotel provides all extras like toothbrushes etc. It is not a fancy place but v comfortable, quiet and with excellent location.

Ideally located just a 2-minute walk from lively Nishiki Market and Ponto-cho Street, Matsui Honkan boasts large public baths and chic Japanese-style rooms.

Staying at this hotel was a fantastic experience. The room was really big and the futons were very comfortable. I enjoyed the bath in the room and the public baths downstairs as well. I would highly recommend this hotel for what felt like a more traditional experience. The staff were amazing as well!
