The beds were large and comfortable. The common areas were spacious and welcoming. We were so impressed by the Piece Hostel Sanjo. We didn’t know what to expect given it’s a hostel. But our expectations were blown away. It’s a very modern, clean and cool place.

Breakfast changed a little bit from day to day. They also have vegan option, which was important for one of us. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable even it was traditional Japanese futon. The staff were the nicest persons ever. The room was cleaned every day.

This is an absolute gem 💎 the owners went out of their way to make sure we have a pleasant stay. They gave lots of advice and borrowed gloves because it was a cold winter day to bike. He even walked us to the bus station helping us with suitcases. They are so lovely good people, would definitely come back here and wish them both the best in life.

They really went to extreme to ensure that we reach the best Kinosaki-experience. I forgot my ring, noticed it in the bus station and accepted my faith. However, they had noticed my ring and rushed to the bus to bring it to me - this is an example of their heartfelt attirude towards guests

A 1000 year-old Buddhist temple, Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in offers Japanese-style accommodation, a beautiful garden and free WiFi. Guests are free to attend Buddhist morning services, the Goma fire ritual and meditation. Just beautiful. The temple is gorgeous and serene. We had the family room with a private bathroom which was clean and a good size for our family. The dinner was perfection and one of the best meals we had in Japan. We wish we had booked for longer.
