This is my second time here, every time is an amazing experience, we slept so good, se were able to rest, the private bath is always relaxing after a long day. If there were an 11/10 I would give it to this place, it was amazing :) from the super friendly staff (always ready to help out or give recommendations for the city) to the clean and spacious facilities. The bedroom were perfectly structured and you have a pretty big closet where you can store a lot of things and lock it with a key (same for the bedroom). Also laundry is available for just 200 yen. The common area is very cozy and nice, with a real guesthouse atmosphere and traditional Japanese seatings surrounded by board games and books for your comfort and entertainment. You can also rent a bike and you have free fresh towels everyday, as well as all toiletries. I absolutely enjoyed the breakfast, both the normal one (free) with fresh fruits, bread, jam, yogurt and orange juice (tea and coffee always available) and the Japanese one for the additional price of 800 yen (worth it every penny) with a fish, rice, seaweed, vegetables and delicious miso soup. I want to thank again the staff for 3 amazing nights and I am sure I will stay there again if I ever go back to Kyoto :)

Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. Guests can wear colourful yukata robes at the property. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. We felt like we were being welcomed in by family! The inn was spacious, with many amenities including private onsens, ryokan meals that had plenty of variety and a huge quantity of food. Being in the room felt like you were transported back in time, having an authentic feel. The staff were genuinely kind and thoughtful, and were always available to perform a tea ceremony, tie our yukatas, take photos etc. There was a sense of pride in the ownership and running of the inn, as this was an 8 generation family home!
