Traditional Japanese breakfast was very tasty and well-served, as everynthing else during our stay. Breakfast changed a little bit from day to day. They also have vegan option, which was important for one of us. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable even it was traditional Japanese futon. The staff were the nicest persons ever. The room was cleaned every day.

Ideally located just a 10-minute walk from the iconic Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Guesthouse Soi offers various rooms including private Japanese-style rooms and dormitory rooms. It is a home away from home. Super cozy practical rooms, and the other areas are so cosy as well! I was always happy to come back and relaxed instantly.

Opened in April 2013 with brand new facilities, Piece Hostel Kyoto is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station. The best hostel that I've ever stayed at, it feels like it's too good to be true, the location is very convenient, if you're travelling places in Kyoto and Osaka. The staff are all friendly and nice people, the lobby is beautiful, very well decorated with nice furniture. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, everything is new and nice, the bedsheets are so clean and nice, the dorns are so spacious and have space for everything. The only things that I didn't like was that I booked it for one night, should have been two! When I come back to Kyoto, I'm definitely staying in Piece hostel, this really changes the standard of a hostel.

Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. The staff are very nice in help you to park the car and taking photo. The hotel is very close to the two famous onsen. The dinner and breakfast are rich and traditional.

The meals, morning prayers, and fire ceremony were profound experiences in which we felt fortunate to participate. We were grateful to have had at least one night at Köyasan Syukubo Ekoin Temple. Our thanks to the entire community.

Only a 2-minute walk from Kyoto Station, Kyoto Century Hotel provides air-conditioned rooms with free internet. The hotel features 3 dining options and massage treatments. The price-performance ratio far exceeded our expectations. To date, this is the best experience we have had in Japan.

Directly accessible within Kansai International Airport, Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport - 3 mins walk to the airport features comfortable rooms with free WiFi. The best location if your flight ✈️ is near. The hotel has everything and outside 4 different restaurants. You must try Italian restaurant. And even they have small market. The stuff was really supportive and kind. Highly recommend the hotel

Nestled in a quiet residential area, Kyoto Brighton Hotel is located in the heart of Kyoto, a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Imperial Palace. All guest rooms are non-smoking and soundproofed. Breakfast was very tasty with big assortment of food. Not a central location was fully compensated by shuttle bus going each 20 minutes.

Wakasa Annex features an outdoor hot public bath and free WiFi. Other facilities include a 24-hour reception, drinks vending machines and free parking. Todai-ji Temple is only an 8-minute walk. One of our favourite hotels in Japan. The room was spacious, had a spectacular view and a private hot tub on the balcony. The onsen was lovely (you could open the windows for fresh air). The location was fantastic but the star of the show was the food - amazing. The dinner was a multi-course treat with a superb menu in a private dining space. High quality fine dining experience. The staff were also exceptionally helpful.
