Located in a forest, Tokonamiso offers a nature retreat with Japanese-style rooms, barbecue facilities and free WiFi access in the lobby area. Staff were wonderful and helpful. The facility was very clean and comfortable. Stayed in the the annex, which I heard just opened last month. It was just across the street. The tea offered added an authentic experience. It was 12 minutes walking distance to the train station, although they still offered shuttle services.

Incredible place, where time seems to be suspended. Bedroom, dining room, shared spaces, onsens, everything is breathtaking. Meals are rich, various and delicious. Staff is very nice.

Situated within a private forest and boasting outdoor hot springs and award-winning cuisine, Sierra Resort Hakuba is a 10-minute drive from JR Hakuba Train Station. Facility was lovely and extremely enjoyable. Loved the lounge with refreshments.
