Great location, yet very quiet with a beautiful serene inner patio. The bed was huge, cleanliness to the highest standards. I loved the water dispenser, I didn’t have to go buy water as you can’t drink the tap water in San Cris.

We had a fabulous stay. Casa Santa Lucia is so welcoming, charming and the breakfast is delicious. The location is perfect with a short walk to the best restaurants and site seeing. The accommodation is amazing with its local artisanal décor and the most divine toiletries. The staff are so helpful from late night drinks at the bar to preparing a packed lunch for our travels when we left very early in the morning to travel to Oaxaca. The hospitality was excellent and the staff certainly go out of their way to assist and always on hand. I can't wait to return someday.

The included breakfast was coffee, bread, fruit, granola, yogurt and watermelon water. excellent. no protein though. could order breakfast from menu. Had dinner all three nights in the Hotel and the service was excellent as was the food. Why go anywhere else. At night we could watch the bats hunt bugs and hear the Howler monkeys.

Large well equipped room with the most comfortable beds. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was in a cafe across the square and was excellent. The hotel is right in the centre so lots of choice for eating out.

With mountain views, Finca Vallescondido is set in El Caobano and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, terrace and children's playground.

The family running the hotel is very friendly. Nice location in between Palenque and Yaxchilan temples. Very good food for dinner. A small river runs through the property (nice sounds which you can hear from the room).

Wow, what a beautifully designed and decorated hotel. I so love that all of the rooms are each themed off of a different significant Woman in Mexican history. Fascinating to learn about. The room was very spacious and had a huge bed. The staff were also very kindly understanding that I arrived quite early and feeling a bit unwell, due to a long overnight ADO bus ride. They were able to get me in a room a bit earlier, so I could rest. The pool among all of the lush plants was delightful to dip into as well. Truly a little oasis among the hustle and bustle of central Tapachula. Very accessible to the nearby big market area as well. Would highly recommend to stay here, if you are looking for something cozy and delightful for your stay in Tapachula. :)
