Located less than 5 minutes’ walk from Palacio de Iturbide Museum and Torre Latino, Hotel Histórico Central offers Colonial-style architecture and free WiFi connection in all areas. The hotel was comfortable, the location was excellent for exploring the historic district of Mexico City, breakfast was good, and there was a 24 hour cafe available. Transportation (which is extra) was great to and from the airport.

We arranged taxi transportation through the hotel, which made everything very easy and stress-free. The hotel is located on a lively, vibrant street, and the presence of guards outside made us feel very safe at all times. We had booked a food tour, so unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy breakfast the next morning. Instead, we had dinner on the terrace, which was a wonderful experience. The following day, we went on a tour to Tolantongo, and the amazing staff were kind enough to lend us towels—something we truly appreciated. We were also able to leave our luggage at the hotel and returned around 8 p.m. Despite heavy traffic and several street closures due to a show, the staff helped direct us to a street where Ubers were allowed. One of the guards even walked all the way to the taxi with us, which made us feel incredibly safe. Overall, it was a great experience. Thank you to the wonderful team at Gran Hotel Ciudad de México! Beautiful gardens within the hotel's compound, spacious clean rooms, delicious Continental breakfast with freshly baked muffins and Mexican conchas, freshly squeezed orange juice, and coffee. The hotel's owner has a great knowledge of all of the pleasures of Mexico City and often joins the diners for conversation over breakfast in the main dining room.

It was a wonderful stay in such an arty place! The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location of the place is between two metro stations, very convenient to move around the city! Absolutely loved it! Extended my stay for one more day there because of this Mexican hospitality and if I had a chance to come back to Mexico City, “Casa Comtese” would be my first choice again! ¡Muchas gracias!

Situated just 350 metres from the Frida Kahlo House, this family-run guest house offers charming rooms with free WiFi, TV and a private bathroom. Allende Park is a 2-minute walk away. This is a beautiful place, and the hosts make everybody feel at home. Great freshly-prepared hot breakfast, fruit and good coffee. Wonderful room with sunny terrace in a green patio, room design reminiscent of the Blue House. Would definitely stay there again.

Isaaya Hotel Boutique by WTC is located across from the Mexico City World Trade Center. The hotel features a restaurant and bar while guest rooms include free Wi-Fi. The location was amazing. I went to cdmx for a concert at Pepsi Center, which was literally across the street. The neighborhood is also great, lots of restaurants and cafes near by. Very safe as well.
