It is a small hotel with very nice staff attentive for your needs. It is not located close to the main square and this makes its quiet and peaceful. Everything is in walking distance and is easy to get a taxi anytime for a very fair price.

One Love Hostal Puerto Escondido offers a place with a mixture of rustic and Mexican-style decoration only 150 metres from Zicatela Beach. Absolutely wonderful place to stay on La Punta. Nico’s a great host and the accommodation is lovely — simple, but comfortable. The rooms are clean and set in a quiet and lush private courtyard with a small pool. There’s no hot water (as all the other reviews will attest), but in the heat the showers are nice and refreshing. They’re not exactly cold either. Upon my arrival, Nico quickly marked a couple of good spots on my phone for coffee and food, as well as helped me to navigate using the colectivos to get into town.

We loved that the entrance was on a pedestrian only street…the gorgeous “Canterra” stones in the open interior courtyard, the tall ceilings and doors in our room, the toiletries, and the truly hospitable staff! Every single person that worked there was so kind and excellent at their jobs! I feel compelled to give additional praise to a particular staff member, named Geraldo. He works as the night front desk person, as well as a breakfast waiter. His bright smile, kindness, excellent hospitality, and perfect service, was the cherry on top of our stay. If anyone in upper management is reading this, know that you have a top notch employee, you are very lucky! He is bilingual, which I’m sure is an excellent asset to have as well! I live on an island that has a tourism economy and have worked in hospitality since the age of 12 and have been an innkeeper at my own BnB for the last 20 years, I know good hospitality and a hard worker when I see it and he is truly professional and hospitable! Thanks again and we will definitely stay again in our next trip to Oaxaca!

Super nice place to stay in Oaxaca! Very clean and comfortable room, nice stuff, perfect location (5-7mins walk to the center keeps it quiet), and the breakfast was so delicious! I will definitely come back.

The hotel is located less than 400 metres from Oaxaca’s Zocalo plaza and features free breakfast, an on-site bar and dry cleaning services. Old house with a courtyard, renovated and converted into a boutique hotel. Very well maintained and is a great choice of an authentic accommodation. Allows easy access to all points of interest and tour meeting locations. Breakfast is delicious and staff are welcoming and kind.
