The view from the pool was absolutely stunning, we couldn't believe it! Our room was also incredibly spacious and had a view looking right over the pool and beach. The staff were sweet and the breakfast in the hotel restaurant was delicious! The walk to the main town/village is quite steep (10 mins or so) but that was fine for us. Easy to access Punta Cometa too via a back route. Would highly recommend and wish we stayed longer - it all exceeded our expectations given the price!

The hotel is located less than 400 metres from Oaxaca’s Zocalo plaza and features free breakfast, an on-site bar and dry cleaning services. We loved everything about this hotel, an oasis in the middle of the city. We were pleasantly surprised by it. The breakfast is INCREDIBLE and the staff are lovely. I would recommend to anybody. Its also walking distance to everything

It’s perfect if you are travelling alone, since you will meet a community of very interesting guests who are choosing Las Mariposas since many years for their holidays in town. The location is definitely one of the best, very close to the heart of Oaxaca, and despite that, at night my room was very silent and peaceful. I couldn’t chose a better place to spend my vacation, and I will definitely come back in the future!
