Marialicia Suites, Hotel Boutique is located 600 metres from Oaxaca de Juárez main square. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. This was an exceptional place. It was spacious for 9 day stay. The kitchen facilities were excellent. Lovely natural materials were used to build the units. There also was a very nice outdoor space.

One Love Hostal Puerto Escondido offers a place with a mixture of rustic and Mexican-style decoration only 150 metres from Zicatela Beach. Absolutely wonderful place to stay on La Punta. Nico’s a great host and the accommodation is lovely — simple, but comfortable. The rooms are clean and set in a quiet and lush private courtyard with a small pool. There’s no hot water (as all the other reviews will attest), but in the heat the showers are nice and refreshing. They’re not exactly cold either. Upon my arrival, Nico quickly marked a couple of good spots on my phone for coffee and food, as well as helped me to navigate using the colectivos to get into town.

A really great location between the Zocalo and the museum. Lots of restaurant choices and a really lovely included breakfast each morning. Our only negative would be that we didn't have an exterior window, our window and door opened onto an interior landing. Which was fine and I'm pretty sure it did say that when Ibooked.

The view was 10/10. We were the only guests at the hotel, and it was unforgettable — very quiet, beautiful, clean rooms, a big pool, and a lovely garden. They gave us a room with a pool view, and it had everything we needed. We really liked this place.

I was sick the first day and they really did what they could to help, including making a nice tea for my tummy troubles! The hotel is very nice, no real issues. Very easy walk to restaurants, markets and el Museo de las culturas de Oaxaca. Nice products in the bathroom and decent breakfast though I think the default is just a continental breakfast style of fruit, coffee and some Conchitas/ pan dulce. Which was fine with us. They also organised some tamales oaxaqueño for us.

Los Pilares Hotel is located in a charming colonial-style Oaxacan house in the neighborhood of Jalatlaco with a small outdoor pool and free onsite parking. Oaxaca Bus Station is 450 metres away. Great location in a beautiful, artsy area very close to the center, great price for value and beautiful courtyard and rooftop Terrace with pool and Jacuzzi and great breakfast
