This was truly a a bucket list trip. The hotel is absolutely amazing. The he igloo Pictures do not do it justice. Extremely talented people put their craft on display. The staff is very friendly and all the culturally experiences are wonderful.

Fjord Hotel is a small family hotel in Alta — built on Norwegian "tillit" the same quiet trust that lets mountain cabins stand unmanned for hikers and honesty boxes sell strawberries at the roadside.

Seaside view was fantastic, the staff very friendly, breakfast was great, atmosphere very down to earth and the location very accessible, walking to Alta city doable. Was able to watch the Aurora over the bay on the second night, which was amazing.
