We recently had the pleasure of staying at Shangri-La Al Jissah in Muscat, and what made our holiday truly unforgettable was the incredible warmth and service from the amazing staff we encountered throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, Den at the Main Reception set the tone for an exceptional experience. Her gracious gesture of upgrading us to an executive suite and arranging beautiful anniversary decorations made us feel truly valued and celebrated. A big thank you also to Bashar, who was consistently helpful and attentive to all of our accommodation needs. At Samba Restaurant, we were touched by the kindness and culinary care of Chef Damith. He went out of his way to ensure our young son had meals specially catered to his liking, showing genuine care and attention that meant so much to us. A special shout-out to Anton as well. By the pool, Sachithra made our time at the Pool Lounge delightful. He ensured we had the best drinks, snacks, and even arranged shisha to perfection. His service and friendly manner truly stood out. Our dining experience at Chow Mee was another highlight, thanks to Michaela, Chef Preecha, Chef Bikash, Miyang, and Vikas, all of whom went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. The meals were exceptional, and we were especially touched by the surprise anniversary cake — a gesture we will always remember. This was more than just a luxury stay, it was a heartfelt experience, made so by the people who work tirelessly to ensure guests feel at home. As a token of our appreciation, we’re also sharing a lovely picture of our family with Chef Damith, who, among all the wonderful staff, truly stole our hearts.
