Atlantida Mar is a contemporary hotel featuring designer guestrooms with panoramic views. I loved the breakfast and easy access to the beach trail. I also loved that it was quiet and clean.

Santa Bárbara Eco-Beach Resort is located in Ribeira Grande, north coast of São Miguel Island. Our stay was amazing – honestly one of the best places we’ve ever been to. The villa was absolutely beautiful, with a jacuzzi and a swing on the terrace, which made it feel extra special. The views were stunning, and the rooms were very comfortable, especially the bed. It’s a perfect spot for a romantic getaway, and the Valentine’s surprise was such a lovely touch. The breakfasts were delicious, the atmosphere was natural and relaxing, and the service was outstanding. The staff truly did everything to make our stay enjoyable. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this place to others. ❤️

A former summer house, Quinta da Abelheira offers an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a large lawn area. It is located in Fajã de Baixo, 4 km from Ponta Delgada, in Azores. We booked a suite with garden view. The suite was super spacious, with modern, high end styling. The complex is charming and rich with vegetation. The warm water swimming pool was just outside the room, and had a nice bar, for drinks and light dinner. The staff is super friendly, and highly knowledgeable about traveling in the island. Breakfast was served on the high level of the complex, and was excellent, with a variety of pastries, cheeses and fruits.

Located in the city of Ponta Delgada, on the south coast of São Miguel Island, CASA DA ILHA - Slow Living Residence & Suites offers a prime location by the sea. Forno da Cal Beach is a 5-minute walk. My stay was excellent! The rooms were extremely clean and well-maintained. The staff provided outstanding service — a special thanks to Jessica and Susana for being so kind and helpful. Breakfast was amazing, with great variety and delicious options. Highly recommended!

The 4-star Octant Furnas is located in São Miguel Island, in Vale das Furnas, site of the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe. Wonderful place, extraordinarily friendly staff, incredible breakfast!

Located in a small bay of the Azorean island of Pico, the design Pocinhobay offers individually decorated rooms facing Faial Island. It is located a 10-minute drive from Madalena village. This place is a paradise. A wonderfull garden where you can enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine while reading a book or listening your thoughts…or the ocean. For us, it was the ideal place to spend our holiday and we will return next year.

In the heart of Ponta Delgada, this hotel features a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, mountains and the city. The marina can be found 500 metres away. We loved this place! The best part about this hotel is the staff - all of them were kind, helpful and truly made this stay special. The breakfast is good and has a rich bread section. The location of the hotel is excellent to explore Ponta Delgada. Rooms are clean and cozy.

MS Vila Nova is centrally located in Ponta Delgada, 1 km from the Convento da Esperança. The hotel features an outdoor pool. My Story Hotel Vila Nova’s guest rooms are decorated in blue and grey... I absolutely loved everything about this hotel! It's quite small and has a cosy feel about it. The staff are very friendly and professional. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean and the breakfast was absolutely delicious - 10 euros for an all you can eat extravaganza with all the trimmings. I also liked that they provided allergy information with the breads (I have a nut allergy). It's a short ride from the airport (the taxi cost us 12 euros) and has an outdoor swimming pool and a nice shared lounge area.
