It was very nice and clean once you got inside , The outside might need abit more love but we enjoyed our stay and are absolutely grateful for the staff and the facilities they had at Holiday inn express It was close to the river and other areas we were going to . Super easy to get assistance from people around that area

Closer to tram station, Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Center (my conference venue), train station (Crossroad) and food outlets. The room and bed were maintained and cleaned on daily basis. Although there were no security personal seen, I felt safe sharing the same access with the hotels' bar/dining customers.
