Katita Wass lovely host, the property was really wonderfully clean, the location was great (right near the bus station and a short walk to the old town). The kitchen was well equipped.

We liked very much the host, they were really responsive and helpful and even agreed to meet us at 4am at he bus station! They were having a lot of advices for Paraty and super friendly. The room was clean and the pousada is in a very good place , close to the bus station and close to the city center.

With its garden and swimming pool, this guest house offers a relaxing environment on the main avenue of Paraty, just 300 metres from the historical centre.

Review for Pousada Taquinha Hey everyone, I stayed at Pousada Taquinha for seven days, and honestly, it was one of the warmest experiences I’ve ever had in a hotel. The staff there were incredibly kind and helped me with absolutely everything. Great rooms, peaceful vibe, and a truly family-like atmosphere. I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world, but I’ve never felt this level of friendliness and genuine care. It really felt like family — even when you’re far away from home. I want the team to know how much I appreciate them. During my stay I wasn’t feeling well for a couple of days, and they actually brought hot tea directly to my room, with ginger and everything, just to help me feel better. Little things like that stay with you. I’m grateful for the entire experience and I hope they see this message. I highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Paraty. Truly a 10/10.

Amazing place near Funchal city centre! The apartment was spacious, super clean and it had everything we needed. The parking spot was such an amazing thing to have. Extra points for the stunning view we had from our balcony 10/10!!
