The Hotel Kernen is located close to the Schönried train station, about 5 km from Gstaad, and offers rooms with balconies, gourmet food and free Wi-Fi. Hotel Kernen could do a master class in how to provide the perfect breakfast buffet - it was beyond fabulous. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. The location was outside the centre of Gstaad which was a plus as it was peaceful but guests got a free pass on the train into Gstaad from Schönried station just behind the hotel.
