The double room was a good size with really effective air con. It had a large mirror which is always useful. I would usually prefer hostel rooms with at least a sink however we were only metres away from the very clean communal ladies facilities. Saw them cleaned at 8am each morning. Only used the kitchen facilities to make drinks and fill our water bottles but the facilities were clean with good signage in English. The location of the hostel was excellent, we chose it as only 5 minutes from the concert venue but it was also near to the main pedestrian area with lots of bars, restaurants and bakeries. It is a good 20 minutes walk from the bus station although there are frequent buses that pass close to the hostel. Buses sell single tickets on board although a day ticket is the same price as two single journeys so better value. There was a sandwich shop next door, not the cheapest option maybe but it was a good sized wrap. The hostel staff were polite and helpful, they spoke excellent English and even ordered us a taxi to take us back to the airport (and it came within minutes)

When I entered the studio I thought, this is nice. It is very well designed. The bathroom has modern fittings. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good, the TV has some channels in English, the fridge is useful. The location is excellent for the old town and very quiet in spite of the town being packed with visitors. Wifi was very good. Access was easy when I followed the instructions emailed by the owner. There was an enjoyable view of some old houses from the window. Aircon was very effective and quiet.

The location was great, especially if you going to the Pula Arena. Close to the port. Restaurants and bars close. Pretty cool decorated room and hotel. Nice shower.
