The location was great! Close to the Main Street by the Fort and all the dining and bars you could be looking for. Bari is a charming city with lots and alleyways and passages to explore. Our host was great, he even had a bottle of wine waiting for us that we enjoyed as we relaxed for an hour in the room before venturing out. Comfy bed, clean, a few stairs but that is normal for old Italy accommodations. Soundproof rooms, lively street with the ladies making orechiette right below us. Easy to get in with clear instructions from Sabino.

Location was perfect in a beautiful location of the old town. Gabrielle was very accommodating, helped organise transport to and from airport. Was always available on phone when needed. Organised a cooking class with Francesca in the apartment which was fun and provided supply’s for breakfast along with a nice bottle of wine.

There is just one word to describe La Pelliccia - charming! The apartment is charming, the street is charming and the location is charming. It's also just across the street from the Port of Bari. That turned out to be very convenient for me as I was sailing on the MSC Fantasia, and it literally took me 15 minutes to stroll from LP to my ship on embarkation day. Giovanna keeps the apartment spotless (and I am fussy). The location suited me perfectly - it was fun to wander around the maze of streets surrounding LP. Bari Vecchia (the old town) is beautiful. And LP is also only 15-20 walk from the main town of Bari. One thing to keep in mind is that you are staying in a residential area, and locals are living their lives - so it can be rather noisy at times. My suggestion is to take heavy duty | industrial strength ear plugs to sleep (the noise dies down around 10pm at night). It's a small price to pay for such charming accommodation. It was very clean with a modern interior and the airconditioning worked really well. I also really liked the discolamp in the shower. That was a nice touch.
