Much larger than we expected and even more beautiful than was described. The hosts were kind, helpful, and did everything to make sure our stay was perfect. The location on Bygdoy is perfect for hiking, sight seeing, walks on the beach, and within a few blocks of a bus that takes you anywhere in Oslo you’d like to go quickly. We absolutely loved it and will stay there anytime we’re nearby. Bygdoy is a true paradise and this apartment was a perfect home away from home.

The public areas of the house were comfortable and well kept. The house was super easily accessible from the city via bus, although it does take about half an hour. There are several great museums and natural areas right by the house.

Everything, especially the staff was very very helpful and friendly. Even the morning staff helped me to gather some coffee in the very early morning, even it was Sunday! :-)

The breakfast was absolutely excellent! It had it all :-D The room was good-sized with two(!) comfy arm chairs and a desk. The shower was really good with both a handheld mouthpiece and a large overhead one. There was also plenty of space for you luggage.The bed was also comfy and not too soft (I like beds tending towards the firm end of the spectrum). Another detail I appreciated was the main power switch for the room. It was the ordinary solution where you are supposed to insert your key card in order to activate the power. However, here there was already a card in the switch and all you had to do was to press it in a bit when you arrive, and pull it out slightly when you leave the room. No risk to forget your card, nice!

I had great time at this apartment, felt like home in many times. Bed was comfy, common spaces well equipped, clean bathroom - everything you would expect. Great stay, clean room and ship. Easy to check in, restaurants/bar and duty free on board. The leisure centre with pool/sauna was nice. Arcade room for kids/teens looked like fun but all we had was euros and card to pay so we couldn’t use it. Bingo was fun, staff were nice.

In the general the atmosphere is awesome, the view is beautiful and the house itself is really cozy. Elmir is super helpful, always ready to provide tips for everything. He also prepared the stay earlier than the planned check in.

The elegant Hotel Continental is centrally located in Oslo, only 492 feet from Oslo’s main street, Karl Johan. It is the only 5-star hotel in Norway, and offers free in-room Internet access.
