Breakfast - a rare treat if you like omelette eggs with a little ham and cheese. Really delicious and small piece of cake - home made and if course coffee but just instant coffee. It really is a healthy breakfast - a pleasant change from the sweet delicious media lunas - croissants and sweet pastries. Yes they taste nice but a dietary disaster and leave you hungry m The location is very good close to Plaque Rodo - 100 metres and another 100etrrs to the Rambla and the beach. Excellent bus connections to anywhere in the city - City centre. Punts Carretas, Old City, Tres Cruces all just 10 minutes or less. A relatively long walk from the main square to the hostel 30 to 40 minutes - not dangerous but nevertheless be alert. Many coffee shops and if late a Tata 24 hour supermarket and bars to stop off the way. Many good bars, cafes just a couple of blocks away yet the hostel is nearly always very quiet with only light traffic at night for the hostel close to the centre.

Overall, an excellent experience. Super easy check-in in a modern building. Hostess was very attentive and quick to respond to any concerns. The apartment was extremely neat, clean and well-equipped. We had everything we needed for our stay, you can tell they thought of every detail. The location is very convenient, you can walk around and there are restaurants and coffee places nearby. The Punta Carretas mall is two minutes away. Very nice neighborhood, would definitely recommend!

Breakfast was good but not excellent. Too many starchy and sweet options, not enough variety of fruits, cheese, etc. Maybe a bit too expensive for what they offer.
