Sitting in 120 hectares of Douro Valley vineyards, this traditional manor house has been converted into Portugal’s first wine hotel. Breakfast was amazing with a choice from the buffet and cooked on order. Location was beautiful including the vineyard, the church over the river. The restaurant is also a gem with an amazing dinner and lunch set menu with wine pairing. They have set up a walk around the property which is well indicated and easy to follow but make sure to have sturdy shoes.

Situated in a former 18th-century wine estate, this luxury hotel overlooks vineyards and the Douro Valley. The attention to detail, the atmosphere was just so magical ! We came to celebrate my husband's birthday, the staff gave us a lot of recommendations for restaurants and attractions. The breakfast was fantastic and the room was really cozy with a lovely view. We very much enjoyed the managers cocktails and speaking w/ the gentleman when choosing our wines by the glass in the tasting room.

The MW Douro Wine & Spa offers 1 restaurant ( D ' Vino Flavors & Soul ) and 1 Cocktail Bar lounge ( Boho Mixology Cocktail Bar ) a Wellness & Spa center with sauna, turkish bath, indoor pool and... Spa and pool were amazing. Breakfast was very delicious. Location of the hotel was perfect.
