We stayed one night and had a great experience. The hotel was very comfortable, modern, and beautifully designed. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the spa, pool, and gym—all clean and well-maintained. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious; I especially recommend the lamb dish. Breakfast was also excellent, with a huge variety of fresh, delicious options. Our room had a stunning view of the lake, which is just steps away. Wasserburg is a charming little area and fun to explore. All in all, a beautiful place I’d happily recommend.

Set in a historic building that was completely renovated in 2015, Hotel Krone Speicher is a 4-star hotel in the centre of Speicher in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden. St. Breakfast was very good. Freshly made coffee and good choice of fruit, cheeses, meats plus cooked eggs and bacon.

Breakfast was great! My room was truly lovely, large and well-appointed, with a great view and a very comfortable bed. I slept very well and enjoyed my stay immensely. The location is spectacular, right on the lake, five minutes from the promenade and everything wonderful about Uberlingen, a magical lake town. I'm so glad I chose this hotel as a home base for a late summer week on Lake Constance.

This is a great place! Beautiful location, and the staff takes excellent care of it. Clean modern rooms with nice views. The restaurant offers several options for dinner and all of excellent taste. Local products are used. Great advice from the sommeliere for Austrian wines. Excellent breakfast. Huge spa area, swimming pool and garden. Hiking, biking, sightseeing - lots of options nearby. Staff is polite, friendly and well-trained.

Also in a great location , short walk to the lake or the other direction into small town. Wonderful !!!
