It is situated outside Eisenach, but there's a good bus service if you don't want to drive, and our hosts were very helpful about suggesting things to do nearby, and how to get to them.

Set in a wooden building, this ecologically built hotel in central Weimar is less than 1 minutes’ walk from the Goethe House Museum. It also offers a rooftop terrace with a sandpit. Great, helpful, english speaking personel. It was quiet in the room, although the hotel is right next to the old town. The big park was also nearby, which was great, because we were traveling with a dog. There was no additional charge for the dog
