Overlooking the Old Town of Rab and featuring swimming pools, a spa centre and two restaurants, Imperial Heritage Hotel, Valamar Collection is located a 5-minute walk from Rab centre. It was very beautiful and comfortable hotel, great variety of food selection...staff was really friendly and nice to us although we stayed just one night.

Hotel Valamar Padova je smešten direktno pored mora u zalivu Prva Padova, na 20 minuta hoda od Starog grada u Rabu, odnosno na 5 minuta vožnje brodom od Starog grada. U ponudi ima bazen na otvorenom. The breakfast and dinner were exeptional! We’ve never saw such options, very very good. Beds were so comfortable. The location is just perfect.

We visited during the low season — in early October. We absolutely loved everything: the hotel is brand new, furnished to a true five-star standard, with plenty of entertainment options for both children and adults. The spa areas, pools, and private beach were excellent. In October, these facilities were often just for us — there was hardly anyone else around. An amazing price-to-quality ratio, although the cost in 2025 was clearly undervalued due to the hotel having just opened. The Croatian sea was wonderful — calm and beautiful — and walks along the pine-covered shore were a delight. The hotel is located far from any towns, which added to the peaceful atmosphere. The food was surprisingly good and exceeded expectations, although after a week it did start to feel repetitive. There were lots of thoughtful little touches for kids, like the option to make your own ice cream or smoothies. As noted in other reviews, the “all-inclusive” model was actually closer to “full board,” but for us, that was more than enough.
