What a luxurious stay. From the walk in to the the elevator, up to the lobby, to the view overlooking the city at the reception, to the amazing view from our room itself, we can say little more than “Wow!” Everything felt upscale, and comfortable, and well sized for two people. We stayed on the 28th floor; slept and woke up to the city of Nagoya. The gym was nice to use, as was the sauna and the laundry facilities.

Relaxing in a hot bath under the open sky, surrounded by stunning nature and a sense of complete seclusion, was truly a unique experience. We were incredibly lucky to be the only guests in the entire hotel during our stay, so we had both outdoor baths entirely to ourselves. Both breakfast and dinner were exceptional. Each meal was an assortment of different Japanese dishes that would be difficult to discover and try on your own. Everything was prepared and presented to the highest standard, and the kaiseki-style serving made it feel even more special. And finally, staying in such a grand traditional Japanese room was unforgettable. It felt as if we were living in one of the palaces we had been visiting throughout Japan.

Way exceeded my expectations for a Courtyard Marriott, it looked like a JW Marriott. Even the bathroom fixtures were high quality, grohe & hansgrohe. There was a Nespresso machine in the room. A friend who lives in the area said the Toyota execs stay here, which I can believe. Short taxi ride to Nagoya station, which we highly appreciated on the return trip. (We initially took public transportation to the hotel which was a mistake given the paucity of escalators in the local stations.)

Offering free WiFi in all rooms, Kuretake-Inn Premium Nagoya Nayabashi is located a 13-minute walk from JR Nagoya Station. - the staffs were friendly and helpful although they are not familiar with English. - they carried my luggage to my room before I checked in. -I am impressed by the Japanese styled breakfast the hotel provided. I enjoyed it so much. - I was a solo traveler. The double bedroom room was spacious for me and the bed was really large.

Directly connected to JR Nagoya Station, the Nagoya JR Gate Tower Hotel offers an on-site restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property. The location was definitely the best. The hotel itself is connected to shopping malls and train stations.. so much to do/see/buy not even traveling outside the area. There are a lot of restaurants (I mean A LOT) open until 11PM. The hotel provided daily new amenities.. check-in and check-out was seamless.

Open from March 2015, Dormy Inn Premium Nagoya Sakae is just a 4-minute walk from Sakae and Fushimi subway stations. All guests can enjoy the natural hot spring bath on site. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of local food! And the free onsen, free ramen, free drinks, and free popsicles were delightful surpises that will keep us coming back. The rooms, despite being on the smaller side (which is normal in Japan), were clean and comfortable with complete amenities (including pajamas). Location was great! It's near the subway station which is just one stop away from.Nagoya Station. And it is within walking distance of a shopping area (Sakae) where you can find the department stores and other shops.
