Very friendly staff. Nice location in the town. Close to civil protection department. Convenient location to visit the Abu Simbel temple. They offered complimentary fruit and bottled water. The fruit is a surprise to us.

This tent features a shared bathroom, a dining area and garden views. The unit offers 1 futon. Bassam's terrace is my favorite place to chill out in entire Egypt! I felt immediately at home when I first arrived, and despite the great museums and attractions nearby, I spent most of my free time on the terrace enjoying the sun, Nubian music, and just chatting to Bassam. The rooms are understandably basic but comfortable to sleep in, and it's only a short walk from the public ferry. Remember to bring your own toiletries!

The owner, Mr. Omar (Gandhi) was very helpful, attentive and knowledgable. He helped all of the guests with organizing trips to sights around Aswan and provided useful tips and information about the area and the country as a whole. The staff working there were nice and caring. They made the whole stay a very pleasant experience. The beds where comfortable, there were enough bathrooms and the location was great, just by the Nile. The price was also very reasonable. I'd book this place again without hesitation.

The location is incredible directly on the edge of the desert, with the desert sand under your bedroom window. It's on the West Bank of the Nile, so quiet. They take you with the boat (~15 min) to the city side or Elefantine island whenever you want. It really is a small farm with animals and all (camel, goats, crocodiles). And Mahmoud the owner is a very nice, smart and helpful person.
