This place is truly a dream! We had the best time ever! It was so relaxing and so good to go with kids, yet still fells so peaceful.

The environment. Our tents are surrounded by olive trees. Good facilities. There are plenty of shower and rest rooms and they are sparkling clean. Wifi works in the whole camping area. Location. Close to good swimming places and hiking trails.

This tent has a sea view. Just a few metres from Nopigia Beach in Chania, Camping Nopigia features a pool with a children’s section, a furnished sun terrace and a poolside snack bar. The campsite is very quiet and in a calm forest right next to the sea. You can hear the waves breaking on the shore. My tent was spacious and provided with a comfy mattress, blankets and two pillows. There is a table and chairs for each tent. The fridge was great as you can keep your drinks cool and some provisions for breakfast etc. That said the little taverna on the campsite was great and I ate dinner there most evenings watching the sun set across Kissamos Bay. Alex and his parents were lovely hosts who couldn't do enough for guests. Kristos the summer help was also friendly and helpful. There are 3 other places to eat within walking distance of the campsite in Nopigia. All were good. The location is great because with a car you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the campsite but every day explore the incredible beaches. My favourite was Kedrodasos but Falassarna is also very beautiful if more developed.I did go on a boat trip to Balos beach and Gramvousa. They are stunning but crowded with tourists. Also worth visiting is Elafonisi with its pink sand. To get to most of these places you will need to drive through the mountains. This might not be for everyone as the driving is quite challenging. I also went on a one-day trip to Knossos and Heraklion. This was also a great opportunity to see the Minoan palace but there are crowds of people there. Both the boat trip and the bus trip to Knossos were organised through Balos Travel agent who have an office on the main street in Kissamos.

Enjoying panoramic Caldera and volcano views from its balcony and windows, this unit includes an outdoor hot tub, a seating area and a bathroom with shower. The view was exceptional. The room was very clean, exactly like in the photos. The little details made all the difference. I highly recommend this hotel!

In a location with a superb view, ideal for lovers of adventure and hiking. The caravan was very neat, clean and equipped with anything we could need during the stay. The hosts were willing for anything we wanted and made us feel like home. They were all very sweet! We all highly recommend it. Thank you very much for everything, you gave us unforgettable memories, we will definitely visit you again!

It had beautiful views, you were in the forest surrounded by trees and nature with views to the sea. Really near to Christos villege where there's a lively vibe with bars and restaurants. The domes were beautiful with all the needs, comfortable bed and bathroom, and amazing views of the stars, the moon and the sunrise.

The host was very polite and helpfull! The room was comfortable and quite big for a tent, and had all the equipment we needed! Also every tent had its own bathroom which was really convenient!

It's hard to find the right words to describe the warm welcome and the magic of this place! The entire Anassa team were wonderful hosts, full of good advice to help us make the most of our stay with 3 children aged 7, 6, and 2. The place was perfect for a family: the playground, the restaurant (EXCELLENT, for vegetarians too, we were totally in love with the food) with everything you need for the little ones (even a special toilet with a mini-sink and mini-toilet!!!), games, something to draw, the pool... Wonderful hikes and walks nearby, Galissas and Armeos beach within walking distance, all of this possible with small kids. Well... We just thought we would find an accommodation but we found so much more! We left with our hearts full of joy, our bodies rested and our eyes filled with the beautiful landscapes of the region.
