Frane has created a truly one of a kind oasis in the olive groves of the island of Brac. Our stay started with meeting Frane in the nearby town and following him, for about 15 minutes, through the hills and country roads to his remote property. We were immediately blown away by the view and the serenity of the place. There are only two tents on the property, both with equally great views and a pool. There's a shared kitchen hut, tomato plants, herbs and grapes one can pick for dinner. Every little nook and cranny is full of history from his family considering it has been their family estate for a long time. The interior of the tents felt like staying in a proper house, and it was very comfortable. Frane is very creative and has utilised and repurposed old building material to make a few furniture pieces, so well that it takes you a second to realise what you're looking at. The nights are quiet and relaxing, stars visible. We hope to stay here again.
