I read a lot of comments about the road not being there, but they just finished a brand new road to the property. You cannot walk to Ubud from there, but they provide shuttle service on request at any time until 9 pm or so.

The curtains did a good job of keeping out most of the bugs. There's an AC unit right above the bed, but we didn't need it. The pools were clean and refreshing! They have a restaurant by the river, as well as a sunset bar overlooking the rice fields. There are lots of stairs, and narrow pathways, so if you have mobility issues, this is not the hotel for you. But if you want a really unique experience, I would highly recommend! The food was great, the staff were friendly, everything was fresh and clean. 10/10 I would stay again
