We arrived at the B&B at night and didn't realize where we were. In the morning when we opened the curtains we were amazed by the view of the countryside, the vineyards, and the mountain that was visible from the edge of the view. A perfect place to clear our heads. The room is surrounded by glass windows with a jacuzzi on the balcony, clean and inviting. The hosts left us a bottle of locally produced wine. What more do you need?

Alessandra and Alessandro are the best hosts you could possibly ask for, literally nothing too big an ask. The tents area amazing - proper glamping, and the van is also excellent. And then there's the view... unsurpassed views of the bay of Naples. If you want something off the beaten track that's oozing authenticity, Habitat is the place to be.

It was beautiful, located far enough from the city centre to feel calm and isolated but close enough that you can walk to the nearest town. Or there is a very convenient bus directly in front of the property. The beach is completely private and only reachable by boat or swimming over from a private platform (you can borrow inflatable mattresses at the property, or just do what I did and bring waterproof bags), it is less than 50m and very doable. Sometimes I was alone on the beach for some hours, the boat users don't come on land so often and it is possible to stay in the shade all day. The food at the restaurant is delicious and a lot of the ingredients are picked directly from the farm. The people working there are super lovely and helpful and were always friendly and available for anything. The steps are a lot but I'm extremely unfit and don't do sport and I managed it fine anyway, if you are a sporty person it will be even easier. I slept like a baby every night, there were many mosquitoes outside but in the tent it wasn't a problem. Also I got a free cat when I arrived that hung out in my tent area and let me pet it a lot I was very sad to leave Bella Baia and would come back again 100000%. The unit offers 6 beds. With an outdoor swimming pool and shuttle bus from Pisciotta Train Station, Villaggio Acquamarina is 900 metres from the nearest beach in Caprioli. Staff were exceptional, a mention for the restaurant staff-Adriana and clothes washing-Laura. And pool and bar.

This is the perfect reasonably priced accommodation for a solo traveller looking for a place to relax away from the very touristy centre of Sorrento. The staff are friendly but leave you alone. The pool and grounds are excellently maintained. The beach is wonderful (it's not really a beach but a little curated rocky area but the swimming and snorkeling there was very good. They offer a shuttle to and from town every half an hour for 2 euro a pop but I found the 30 minute walk into town quite a fun adventure, as part of the road has no pavement. The little shop in the village has everything you need and is not too expensive and its staff are very sweet. I stayed in a rider tent which was very basic but very comfortable and it was nice to have a place to sit under the tent. Oh the restaurant there is very expensive if you go fancy which I did one night. 100 euro for a two course meal with wine. The food was good but a bit overpriced I thought. But they do pizzas for around 10 to 13 euro Thank you for a lovely stay. I hope to come back with my partner and try some of the other accommodation.
