Ranil and his team undertook one of the largest study of Sloth Bears so they know a thing or two when it came to the safari. We spent a day ticking off the most wonderful array of wildlife. We were here as a family and couldn’t be more happy.

This unique tent is set on the border of the National Park and comes with a private bathroom. The team at Wilpattu were outstanding. Everything was clean and the 3 course dinner was great value. The Safari was amazing. We saw leopards, sloth bear, elephants and the guide Avishka was superb.

Just the place to get away from it all. We ended our 2 week trip here and it was the perfect R&R. Spent our last day on the water with the Dolphins.
