This is just such a relaxing spot. The garden surrounding our tent was beautiful and John did everything to make us feel comfortable. We were 10 minutes away from Charlie Beach and 5 from many good restaurants. We didn’t need to go into ‘town’ where the pier is at all in 4 days. The only thing to take into account (if you are staying in the tent, which is spacious and the bed amazing) is that your private toilet is outside, 4 steps down from the tent. Not a problem, as I found it so nice to shower with the sky and banana leaves above my head instead of a concrete ceiling! Thanks John and little kitty Wilson for welcoming us into your bit of paradise!

We upgraded to one of their 'tree house' rooms and these rooms are fantastic, like waking up in the jungle. The staff were excellent and provided a free taxi shuttle to the botanical park 5 minutes away. The park is free to visitors after 3 and well worth a visit as it has a huge waterfall running through it which was great fun to explore. Food standards and choices were very high and the views from the dining room balcony across the mountains were special. A 30 minute taxi ride from Trang Airport.
