The hotel is 600 metres from the First Cable Car Station and lies 100m above the centre of Grindelwald. Its rooms and sun terrace have magnificent views of the surrounding scenery. It also features a unique spa area in the goats' stable. The location is really good. Though it’s not near the train station, it’s only 20min walk or 15min ride with the free bus service given by the hotel. The view of the hotel, I would say, it’s much better than those next to the train station and the main road - simply choose rooms with mountain views. The staff members are all very friendly and helpful. And the facilities are great with no complaints.

It also features a new spa area. Love the location and the view from the balcony. The staff in the counter is so nice and friendly, she recommend so many restaurants and sight seeing place for us. Room is comfortable as well.

Very central for trips for Jungfrau. Nice dining area if you want to warm up and eat your own lunch and dinner with tea adn coffee provided. Phillip was awesome at reception.

Situated in the centre of Interlaken, within 20 km of Grindelwald Terminal and 22 km of Giessbachfälle, Modern City Apartments is an accommodation offering city views. This 4-star apartment offers a lift and private check-in and check-out. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Very spacious apartment meant that we got more space for less money ( as compared to Hotels). Location is right in the middle of Interlaken close to stations ( Interlaken West) and restaurants. The host was very accommodating and responsive. We were allowed early Check-in which greatly helped us utilize our day since we had a lot of luggage and had it not been for the early check-in we had no better option. We had a nice lovely chat with the host about the things to see ( not the big famous sites online, but how to find the perfect picnic spot, where to go when - this allowed us to maximize our limited time and focus on what we wanted out of our trip. The Apartments are NEW. Spacious. I would book here again. Kitchen was well furnished. Laundry and dish cleaning supplies were provided. Cooking was easy. Only 1 small thing which we worked around anyways. - the TV didn't have much options. We couldn't sign in to our Nflix , streaming services accounts to watch our content, nor were there a whole lot of of English options. We connected our laptop to the TV, via the hdmi cable from the back and watched our stuff. It was a small thing.
