I hadn’t stayed in a hotel this good in a long time. From the moment I arrived, there was an incredible sense of quiet luxury throughout the entire property. Everything was spotless, and the room was outstanding—beautiful design, excellent domotics, and a great shower with perfect water pressure. The breakfast was unbelievable. The lady managing the breakfast area had exceptional attention to detail, and it showed in the quality and presentation of everything. The spa was also very nice, and I only wish I had booked more than just one night. The staff at reception were highly committed, welcoming, and spoke very good English, which made the whole experience even smoother.

Set on the Bay of Biscay and surrounded by mountains, the Higueralde guest house is located 15-minutes’ walk from the beach. It offers rooms with central heating and free Wi-Fi. We loved our stay, your place, the magnificent breakfasts, and the lovely view that never got old. Our room was spectacular! The weather was very nice. Went to a great restaurant in town twice. Very friendly and able owner, Vincent.

Less than 5 km from the coast and beside the Basque town of Irun, this charming hotel has a lovely garden and free internet. Good location, friendly and engaging staff, cozy lobby for hangout. Super comfortable bed with luxurious bedsheet for the best night of sleep. Shower has plenty of hot water and wonderful pressure. Free parking. I will definitely return when I come explore this region again!

The area is beautiful and un spoilt. The owner clearly took great pride in this & what he had built. The accomodation was very good. A great balance of comfort/cabin. Extremely comfortable bed, a wood burner and small practical kitchen setup, all perfectly presented. We enjoyed our stay and the walks in the local area. A perfect stop off traveling back from Portugal for us.
