This was my first time in Badenweiler. I went there with a couple of friends for a cycling training camp. In that aspect, everything was perfect! The hotel installation was previously used by Team Telekom, so you can see where Jan Ulrich was meeting with teammates before training, there are many pictures of him and other professional cyclists around. We had a safe place to store our bikes. The highlight for me was the breakfast. Everything was so so good, fresh and with a variety of options. We could all fuel up very well before the training.

It is easy to find worth ample free car parking. The rooms are very spacious, clean, well appointed and very comfortable. The staff are lovely and speak good English. The restaurant is very popular and serves excellent food at a reasonable price.

Indoor swimming pool, sauna (you have to book it pay extra, remember to ask the to preheat it for you, otherwise you will hardly have time to use it - booking is for 1hour). Free parking nearby, places where you can walk your dog. Nice kitchen, heating works, just remember to turn it on (and off when you leave). Elevator. Peaceful neighbourhood, golf course and stables nearby. Friendly staff. To sum up nice place for a short and a longer stay, nothing fancy but much more than you could expect for this price - plus for us the swimming pool was a deal breaker :)
