The cottage is perfect for a couple to get away from the world for a few days. Everything you need is provided. The log burner makes for a cosy atmosphere. The bedroom and snug and fantastic. Lovely hot shower in the morning and it's even nice to be able to chat to the other half in the living room whilst you cook! Could not fault the place really. Happily recommend.

We didn’t want to leave.

Each spacious room has a TV, tea/coffee facilities and ensuite bathroom. Many rooms boast views of the Lake District fells or hotel gardens, and some have a separate seating area. Loved the bar and the giant sunny room, was so nice to have a glass of wine and read a book sitting on a comfy couch. The room we had was lovely it had three windows which made it nice for a Crossbreeze. The location was great very easy to get into town or you can just enjoy the lovely gardens.
