Built in 2013, this hotel offers an in-house restaurant, free Wi-Fi and naturally furnished rooms with a tiled bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Läckö castle is 300 metres away. Location on the very grounds of the castle. The staff does a great job and is always helpful, at the hotel and the restaurant.

Good value for money. Very well equipped kitchen with everything you need. A nice yard with many fruit plants and toys to have fun with. We were free to pick some berries and apples. A little bit drive about one and half hour to almost all popular sites on the west coast, but considering the price and difficulties finding accommodations on west coast during peak season, it is surely a good choice. We travel as a family of 4 adults and 1 kid. The rooms are very well prepared with 4 single beds and surprisingly an extra folding bed which isn't shown on the room pictures. So none of us need to share a bed. Beds are very comfortable for a good sleep. Definitely come back again.

Situated by the Klarälven river, this eco-friendly hotel is 200 metres from Karlstad’s main street, Kungsgatan. Wi-Fi, gym, sauna and bike access is free. It was clean, quiet zone, very good breakfast 😊

Dating back to the 14th century, Ronnum Herrgård is housed in a manor at the southern point of Lake Vänern. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with a flat-screen TV. This was the property that we were most looking forward to during our visit to Sweden. We were not disappointed. The room was large and comfortable, with the separate bathroom and an added bonus of a sauna. We loved the vintage feel and the history of the place. Breakfast was an excellent spread, catering for all tastes. Staff were helpful and friendly. Our meal in the restaurant was exceptional. Free parking on site. We spent 3 days exploring the Halle-Hunneberg area. A very special experience.

Situated on Västra Torggatan pedestrian street in central Karlstad, Home Hotel Plaza is housed in a stylish 1890s Art Nouveau building. It offers free WiFi and rooms with a flat-screen satellite TV. The hotel provides breakfast, fika and dinner. It’s excellent value! It also has a playroom for kids. The drinks in the hotel is very good price. We had a big room and super comfortable bed , love the bedsheets and pillows. We actually bought same brand after we back home!
