This place has a lot of potential but unfortunately I happened to be the only guest during my one night stay. There is well functioning air conditioning and the toilets are really clean and spacious. The beds are really well designed and come with individual lockers, small table, socket and personal lamp. The hostel is located right opposite the entrance of Borobodour, and the staff have useful budget transport advice.

In 10 days of traveling around Java I had not stayed in a place that was so nice to be inside. The room was terrifically clean, the size ample, the air conditioner worked well, there was hot water, and a nice porch out front. My only suggestion would be to place a wall mounted electric fan on the front porch so that guests can be outside more comfortably

The Puunee is in the nature, it is quiet so you can really relax. The staff takes the extra mile for their customers. they are really sweet. They have a very good restaurant by the river. The Greek yogurth was a highlight for us and also the dishes were cooked to perfection. We would come again any time.
