The 15th century feel of the house made it look incredible, large rooms accommodating kids with split level so they have own beds at top. The staff were lovely and welcoming, English speaking receptionist who was very helpful. The breakfast had everything you needed and the whole ambiance was delightful

We simply loved everything. Great location, 3 minutes on foot to the very center of the town. Big, clean room with super comfortable bed. Private, secured parking (a littlle bit tight but very well organized and basic driving skills will more than enouch to park your car there). Delicious breakfast. Location is excellent, right next to the Citadel and main tourist area. Plenty of restaurants and attractions within walking distance. The property is charming, like an old inn with wooden floors. Room was very comfortable with down comforters and pillows. There was even a ductless Toshiba heater/air conditioning, which is very surprising in Europe. Mai heating done through radiators which was adequate. Bathroom showers has full closing glass doors which was nice. No slippery tiles. Small refrigerator in room. The included breakfast was more than adequate. Don’t miss fresh cider and local jam. I had dinner in the restaurant and the Spaghetti Carbonara was very good, with smoked Guanicale or pork cheek. The staff was polite but not very helpful in talking about local attractions. I think their awkwardness at their language skills must have embarrassed them. They were as helpful as expected. I was in shoulder season so it was quite empty. I like it that way. I suspect that the restaurants in the square get noisy at night.

It is veryyyy cute and a fairytale vibe. We booked and stayed four nights with the Queen Suite. We do love the four post bed with a flat screen tv in the middle with Netflix. My boyfriend enjoyed the bathtub next to the bed. It is gorgeous and airy and light.

I’m very satisfied with my stay in losif 55. We arrived very late midnight, the host so responsible to arrange our check in. The room was spacious, spotless clean and comfy. Bathroom is clean and spacious too. Tea and coffee provided made my stay feel like home 👍🏻

Close to the city center 😊 the owners are very nice people, and we felt really welcomed. We had really good heating, which is very helpful when it's cold outside. We also had free parking on the street, which helped us a lot. I really recommend Casa Rio!

This place is so nice. On the country side, but comfortable and really clean. My entire party of 4 from 13 to 90 year old enjoyed the stay, short as it was. The host is a really friendly guy who did everything for everyone to feel welcome and beyond. I saw some reviews that complained about the breakfast. It either improved 10000% since then, or these people confused the place with another one. The variety and the quality of breakfast was beyond expectations! I really liked the mushrooms the salami and the veggies but everything was great, eggs were cooked well and they were fresh, tea and coffee were also really good, quince and rose hip jam... Yum
