Found a 6 minutes' walk from the Piata Cetatii Medievale in Sighisoara's center, the Mercure Sighisoara Binderbubi Hotel & Spa has a Tyrolean-inspired décor and a vaulted wine cellar. The service at the hotel was excellent and we enjoyed the stay. The CoVid-19 measures in place were excellent, much better than we ever encountered before. For example, the breakfast was very sanitary and packed separately so no contact with other people can take place. I would surely recommend this place to anyone visiting.

Our flight was late and we did not arrive until after midnight—Hotel Transylvania, I know, right? Daniella contacted us directly, stayed up until we got there and made sure we were settled before she left. Then was on hand the next day to greet us. Excellent personal service. Gorgeous town Lovely people and a great array of restaurants and pubs that cater for all but mainly local and traditional food The citadel is amazing and the view from the top is spectacular There is also one of the oldest covered stairs in Europe dating from 1600s Loads of shops with traditional costumes as well
I’ve visited Sighisoara twice and I will definitely go again. The vibe of the citadel is so calm and peaceful. I find the architecture so beautiful and the 360 view around the hill is perfect. Totally recommend it for a romantic getaway, as you almost feel part of a fairytale. Wether you choose to aimlessly walk around or visit the museums and attractions you will definitely have a great time. Great stays at good prices (I recommend The Throne). The cuisine is also something special. Try out the traditional dishes and you won’t regret it. I recommend La Strada restaurant for dishes like bean soup in bread, pork with beans, duck with cabbage and Marlenka desert. Also the medieval omlette at Medieval Cafe is the best omlette I’ve ever tasted. Try one of their natural juices as well.
Every time I visit Sighisoara it is a kind of feast for me. I have never had enough of this wonderful citadel, of the kind people from there, of the feeling I have wandering the medieval streets and admiring the towers, the buildings, taking dozens of photos. Always a joy!
The old citadel is a near perfect medieval fortified town that is largely traffic free. There is a lot of atmosphere to the place (if you can ignore the Dracula "themed" places). Staying in the citadel and getting up early means you can absorb the atmospehere and take your photographs before the tour groups arrive mid-morning! If you have a car - it makes a great base for exploring the fortified Saxon Churches and Villlages nearby such as Biertan and Viscri. There is a whole range of places to eat and drink - as well as supermarkets - just beyond the South entrance to the citadel; this is also where you find the ATM machines and banks and large public car parks.
This is a lovely little town, both the old city up a hill and the newer at the foothill. Take time to walk around and explore. We left our car in the parking lot and walked everywhere. The best place to eat was Joseph's at the central park hotel. Lovely restaurant with good food and service. In fact the next time we're there we shall stay at the central park.
Sighişoara
Marius, the owner, was waiting for me when I arrived with a beverage and some homemade cookies his wife made. He gave me a nice map of the city center and went through it with me, which was really helpful. I wanted to go to some nearby fortified churches and Marius connected me with someone so I was able to arrange a tour. He was so genuinely friendly and helpful. You couldn't ask for a better host! The room was really cute, comfortable, clean, and right in the old town. It's the perfect place to stay in Sighisoara.
Sighişoara
This was the best experience I have ever had in Romania! The host - Sebastian - was extremly nice and helpful!!! He served me with a welcoming drink, he gave me all the information I needed and even more - thanks to him I have new objectives to visit in Romania. The apartment was very nice and clean, had a lot of staff that you need in the kitchen. The hotel is very close to the historic center and was even better than in the photoes. I will definetly come back here again.
Sighişoara
Super-Hosts (including here also the Cat !) in a Super-Location (the Best I can think of, when visiting Sighisoara). If you are a Big fan of the Ultra-all-inclusive-turkish-style 5*+++ hotels, just Don't go there ... Otherwise, it is the Best option you can find, Unbeatable in chapters such as "Historical information", "Cultural information" and "Practical information for a successful holiday" :)
Everything is new! The hotel just opened a couple of weeks before we stayed there for the night. We were received with a very friendly welcome and the staff also showed us how to get quickly to the old town centre. It’s basically a couple of steps up the hill across the street. Our room was very well equipped, it had airco and a view on the quiet inner garden. I would definitely stay here again when we pass by Sighisoara next time.
Sighişoara
The location was great, right in the heart of Sighisoara. Unexpectedly big and comfortable room, very clean, coffeee machine and complimentary coffee provided. Great view from the upper terraces with heated jacuzzi on the upper one. Fully equipped kitchen. No breakfast provided but full of restaurants nearby so it wasn't a issue. Great overall experience, excellent value for money.
Sighişoara
Fantastic location, right in the heart of the old city of Sighisoara (couldn't be closer to the tower, great view while having breakfast). The hotel is located in the beautifully renovated historical building. Each room is unique and tastefully decorated with antics. The hosts are thoughtful and available. We really enjoyed our stay there!
We didn't actually stay there because they had some problems but they were kind enough to book a room for us in another hotel nearby, so basically we just moved to the other place. They called us beforehand to let us know I think a couple of days before. Great team.
The hotel is right in the center near the main visiting places. The rooms are clean. I liked that we had in the room an ironing table and an iron. Also the pool is great and we got lucky and it wasn’t crowded at all. The food is excellent
Sighişoara
The people, their service was awesome. That includes personnel from the hotel and the restaurant. The building is awesome, especially the underground “Crama” and the restaurant at first floor. The food was awesome too.

The staf was friendly, and the hotel is beautiful. But a lot of noises were there during the night. Breakfast was rich of choises.
The hotel is within the old area of Sighisoara, and the room also feels like from another age. Amiable staff. Fast chek-in.
