Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest

Hotel in Bucharest City-Centre, Bucharest

Located in the Old Town of Bucharest, Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest is 1312 feet from Bucharest National Theater and provides facilities like free WiFi, a fitness center, and a shared lounge. We had a great experience staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bucharest. The staff was very friendly, approachable and helpful throughout out stay. As we were celebrating a special occasion, we got a nice surprise from the staff and this made for an even better welcome and stay for us. The room was very spacious and well-furnished, and the hotel feels very clean throughout. The breakfast buffet had a surprisingly large offering, and everything was nice and fresh. The hotel is located right in the Bucharest Old Town, so it's a perfect location for all tourists. We did not feel that the room was noisy even if the area is surrounded by bars, pubs and restaurants. We were very pleasantly surprised staying here and would certainly recommend this hotel.

Where Modern Meets Old

A fascinating mix of old and new, Bucharest is one of those cities where you can find a futuristic structure of glass and steel next to an old church, separated by a Communist-style massive edifice. Not overwhelmed by its dark past, the city is now turning its optimistic face towards the West.

Undergoing constant modernization, the city continually changes and new modern structures pop up in the city center and beyond. Great examples are the stunning Basarab Bridge, Europe’s widest cable bridge, and the City Gate Towers.

While admiring the new, don’t miss out on the old classics, like the Parliament Palace, the world’s second largest building, with over 3100 rooms and impressive marble interiors covering 81.5 acres. Make sure you check out the view from Nicolae Ceauşescu's balcony!

To fully appreciate the city’s long history, from Vlad the Impaler (aka Dracula) to the ’89 revolution, the city offers free guided walking tours, giving you a great opportunity to discover all the city’s secrets. And spot all the best shopping venues!

Before you land at Bucharest Airport, just 11 miles from the city center, make sure you check what Booking.com has to offer: from hotels to apartments, just a few clicks away!
