Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest

Hotel in Bucharest City-Centre, Bucharest

Located in the Old Town of Bucharest, Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest is 1312 feet from Bucharest National Theater and provides facilities like free WiFi, a fitness center, and a shared lounge. The staff was amazing, i spent here the night before my wedding, so it was a special occasion for me and the wonderful people there made it even more special. I received as a wedding present an upgrade to one of their apartments, which created a fairy-tale feeling for me and my family. Me and my husband saw each other for the first time in a more secluded lobby, a wonderful cloud-like place with stairs and a great architecture. I could not have been happier, it is a hotel like a home, which i would recommend over and over again because of the professionalism and kindness of the people working here, which cannot be neither bought nor otherwise obtained. It was a breath of fresh air to come across such great people!

Hotel Lido by Phoenicia

Hotel in Sector 1, Bucharest

Located in the center of Bucharest, Hotel Lido by Phenicia is a historical hotel dating from 1930, designed by the famous architect Ernest Doneaud. Our stay was for six nights and it was the perfect place to experience the city. It is a central location within walking distance to many visitor attractions. Close to restaurants and shopping. This is a small hotel with very friendly staff and we felt right at home. The decor is unique and has a nice lounge to relax in after a day of excursions and walking tours. The breakfast is fantastic. Not once did we feel unsafe on the streets - we came away with an appreciation of the city and the people in it. Thank you Bucharest and thank you Hotel Lido

FAQs about hotels in Bucharest

Where Modern Meets Old

A fascinating mix of old and new, Bucharest is one of those cities where you can find a futuristic structure of glass and steel next to an old church, separated by a Communist-style massive edifice. Not overwhelmed by its dark past, the city is now turning its optimistic face towards the West.

Undergoing constant modernization, the city continually changes and new modern structures pop up in the city center and beyond. Great examples are the stunning Basarab Bridge, Europe’s widest cable bridge, and the City Gate Towers.

While admiring the new, don’t miss out on the old classics, like the Parliament Palace, the world’s second largest building, with over 3100 rooms and impressive marble interiors covering 81.5 acres. Make sure you check out the view from Nicolae Ceauşescu's balcony!

To fully appreciate the city’s long history, from Vlad the Impaler (aka Dracula) to the ’89 revolution, the city offers free guided walking tours, giving you a great opportunity to discover all the city’s secrets. And spot all the best shopping venues!

Before you land at Bucharest Airport, just 11 miles from the city center, make sure you check what Booking.com has to offer: from hotels to apartments, just a few clicks away!
