Novotel Bucharest City Centre

Hotel in Sector 1, Bucharest

This 4-star hotel is located directly on the Victoriei Boulevard, close to the University of Bucharest and Cismigiu Park. This is a great Hotel and I am very pleased to write this recension. The best point was the staff, especially on the reception desk. Unfortunately I did not remember to ask the name of a man the desk I would like to thank especially. They resolved immediately any problem which arouse and are helpful even calling them by phone from outside. The second advantage of this Hotel is the positione. You can reach within 5 minutes the best restaurants in the center zone. Furthermore, there are interesting things to see near to the Hoteln (churches, Revolution Square...) there is even a park with an Iceskating field. Buses and Metro which take to every place in Bucarest are not far. I saw that some of the clients critized the breakfast but I am not of the same opinion. There is nearly everything you may pretend. The SPA ist small, as someone pointed out, but it has been a great pleasure to use it. There were only few people.

FAQs about hotels in Bucharest

Where Modern Meets Old

A fascinating mix of old and new, Bucharest is one of those cities where you can find a futuristic structure of glass and steel next to an old church, separated by a Communist-style massive edifice. Not overwhelmed by its dark past, the city is now turning its optimistic face towards the West.

Undergoing constant modernization, the city continually changes and new modern structures pop up in the city center and beyond. Great examples are the stunning Basarab Bridge, Europe’s widest cable bridge, and the City Gate Towers.

While admiring the new, don’t miss out on the old classics, like the Parliament Palace, the world’s second largest building, with over 3100 rooms and impressive marble interiors covering 81.5 acres. Make sure you check out the view from Nicolae Ceauşescu's balcony!

To fully appreciate the city’s long history, from Vlad the Impaler (aka Dracula) to the ’89 revolution, the city offers free guided walking tours, giving you a great opportunity to discover all the city’s secrets. And spot all the best shopping venues!

Before you land at Bucharest Airport, just 11 miles from the city center, make sure you check what Booking.com has to offer: from hotels to apartments, just a few clicks away!
