Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. Roxana is very nice and will try her best to accommodate any wish. By far, the best hotel staff I've encountered.

Great Property ,equipped with everything you need, beautiful furniture and doors, very clean and well thought in general. Even though I didn't have much time to enjoy all the goodies there, since I came late at 9 PM and left at 4 AM, I enjoyed those few hours very much!
The hostesses were super helpful and their hospitality was great!

There are usually several options at these airport apartments, but I think they're the best place to stay when flying into or out of Otopeni. We always walk to the airport because it takes about the same amount of time as getting a cab. You have to cross a pedestrian bridge, so it is a little harder with wheeled luggage, but we've done it. There is also a train station that the train from Bucharest Nord stops at before arriving to the airport, so it's very convenient to get to the city by train without having to go all the way to the airport. We often see airline pilots staying here, and they transit often, so they know the best places to stay. This rental in particular was nice, and the price was good, so I highly recommend it.

The hotel was warm, friendly welcoming and convenient. The shuttle to and from the airport worked well. The hotel was clean and there were helpful amenities such as tea/ coffee and water in rooms. The restaurant was good value with a varied menu , food was great, served promptly. All staff spoke English, and all were friendly and keen to help. Location was perfect for prompt connections to flights. There are good public transport links into the city too.
There is no lift, but this was not an issue as staff helped to carry bags.
No noticeable noise from airport or main road with windows closed. No noise from other guests.

The hosts were extremely kind and responsive. They allowed our group to use all the amenities. I strongly recommend. We took advantage of the snow and made a snowman in the yard. It is extremely nice to be greeted with a smile, warmth and responsiveness.
The hosts don't speak English well, but we used a mobile app and everything was fine.

In my opinion this motel is best for staying close to the airport or if you have a car. To get to grocery stores you need to walk 2~ km by the highway or go to the local one who is barely a grocery store.
Positive:
As for the motel, it is very pretty, very modern and good facilities. The bathroom and shower are spacious and clean and they allow dogs which is a big plus for me. There is an Italian restaurant right by the hotel which is very good and convenient to order food from :)
Negative:
The young male receptionist is not very friendly at all and was just watching my 65 year old Grandma carry her suitcase up two flights of stairs and I have a feeling he is just the owner's son and not hired there based on his attitude.

Therme was amazing got to recommend, don’t bother going for Elysium the palm is the best part! Close to the shops, nice affordable shops to visit and easy to use public transport, I’d recommend downloading bolt for your time there.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious. It’s a good location as everything is within a 20 minute taxi ride. The staff were so friendly and accomodating. The owner, Victoria really went out of her way to make sure you had an amazing stay. We loved every minute of our stay there and would definitely come back!

The airport is not great at all, the staff are not friendly, and the available food is terrible. the food is so overpriced for an airport and does not look fresh. In the Duty Free, the staff are on their phone and do not want to help.
The toilets are disgusting and covered in faeces or broken locks. Would not recommend at all.

lovely location and good communication to begin with, with the owner however when showing faults of the inside room they did not agree although there is proof. There is mould in bathroom and the smell is very overwhelming despite leaving the windows opened. I could not stay for more than the weekend with dust/dirt of the room honestly. They just need to clean the inside of the room to the good standard that is in the lounge area and put a nice air fresher in the room, same as outside. :)

Royal sushi restaurant was nice next door.
If wanting quiet holiday it's great but 45 to hour away in taxi for night-life.

Well located to the airport. Easy to access with train line nearby. Very comfortable and well appointed apartment. We needed somewhere comfortable just for one night and this suited us perfectly. Some shops and restaurants nearby.

So, as an American, I'm viewing through a lense of someone...
So, as an American, I'm viewing through a lense of someone who lives in a safe space (away from the cities of USA). Balotesti seems like a safe place to walk around and visit small markets (for food, ice cream, etc), see some WWI/II memorial, and be close to Bucharest, Otepini. This is the 3rd time we've staying in Balotesti and I would absolutely recommend staying here.

This is a cheap and not very luxury hotel at an excellent location. It's just opposite the North train station, next to a small supermarket. The room is small, noisy (from the street and neighbours) and smelly (cigarette smoke is in the room and balcony, you will not escape). It's just perfect for any train related activities such as an early/late train. Due to regular overnight trains to OTP it is also perfect for early/late plane travel . I typically use it for late plan arrival to OTP, then taking an early morning train.
