The staff were amazing, friendly, and quite welcoming. They treated the guests with the utmost respect and were around whwn you needed them for help ir anything else. My host, Bejdi, was quite friendly and supportive, and an all around good guy. The facility was great, it was compact, yet, not small or tight, warm, clean, and it was more than what you can pay for. The view from the hostel but more from its terrace is an experience in itself. I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Berat as you'll get to meet some wonderful staff, and also great traveling folks too.

The location was excellent , almost in the center next to old town and the castle. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included in big portion and so yummy. Best price in Berat for solo travels. Highly recommend !

The staff was amazing. Really warm hearted people and easy to communicate with. They made us a delicious and big buffet for breakfast. Good beds and a very efficient heating system in the room. I will stay there again next time

We had the perfect hostel experience in Backpacker's. Our room was big and comfortable. The staff, both volunteers and locals, were very accommodating and helpful with anything we needed, not to mention they were all interesting and nice people. The hostel itself is inside an old and beautiful house and the location is great - right near the promenade and Berat castle. Breakfast was also good and unlike plenty of places in Albania it was also vegan friendly! Overall fun experience!
